Congratulations to Warren and Anita Unruh on the arrival of a new family member. A girl was born to them on March 11, 2004, at Newton Medical Center. They have named her Jenna Grace, and she weighed 7 1/2 pounds. She has a brother Nathan, 9, and a sister Kyle, 5, to welcome her.
Sunday dinner guests of Ken and Sandy Wiebe were Henry Redger and his niece, Lettie Koehn of Moundridge, and Carol Unruh. Henry has been spending a few days on the farm.
Bruce and Cheryl Dirks accompanied by Harlan and Sheri Koehn went to Leland, Miss., on Thursday to attend the Friday memorial services for Cheryl's cousin, Doug Smith.
Charles and Bob Goentzel and son arrived on Friday from Anchorage, Alaska to help get ready for their parents' sale.
Sunday dinner guests at the Terry Hiebert home were Harlan and Sheri Koehn and Mark, Irvin Isaac, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, and Lance Wiebe.
Sunday evening, the Morning Star church hosted a potluck supper to welcome the Terry Hiebert family, Lisa Redger, and Rick Koehn, who are attending church here. It was also a farewell to Harvey and Madeleine Jantz, who will be attending closer to their home near Moundridge.
Sunday evening, Mark and Barb Unruh hosted a supper for the March birthdays of the Unruh family. Those honored were Sarah Unruh, whose birthday is March 10; Katelin Unruh, March 24; and Lon Hiebert, March 31. Guests were Ron and Dora Unruh, Jim and Brenda Enns and Darren, Lon and Deb Hiebert and Matthew, and Warren Unruh, Nathan and Kyle.
On Thursday afternoon, Dora Unruh attended the memorial service for her cousin, Elma Siemens, at the Hebron Mennonite Church in Buhler.
