The following went to their church conference in California this past weekend: Bruce Dirks, Ken and Sandy Wiebe, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes and Merlin and Karletta Wiebe. Most of them returned Sunday while Harry and Sheryle went to visit some relatives, returning home on Tuesday.
Even though the weather was not favorable there was a good crowd that attended the Goentzel sale on Saturday. This area received from 1.50 or more of rain on Saturday morning during the day and that evening. Amazingly, Sunday was a beautiful day only a little cool but after all we live in Kansas. Ben and Lenora moved into Parkside Homes this past week.
The Goentzel family all attended a family reunion Sunday at noon at Lehigh. It was hosted by the Clarence Goentzel family. On Monday afternoon, Charles and Karen Goentzel and boys returned to their home in Anchorage, Alaska, by plane. Bob Goentzel will return later this week to Alaska.
Mike and Mich Rhodes had Harry and Leia Wedel, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Darrel and Donita Rhodes and Tyson as their Sunday dinner guests.
Guests during the weekend at the home of Gene and Jaraine Redger were Vicky Brockman and grandson, Tyler, who stayed Thursday through Saturday there, Valara Redger, the Tim and Tammy Larze family, Jeff Brockman and Treva Crawford.
Matthew Hiebert of Peabody spent from Tuesday to Friday with his grandparents, Ron and Dora Unruh. He had spring break from school. On Thursday, Nathan Unruh came to play with him.
Wayne and Loralee Wiebe invited Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family and Clayton and Betty Wiebe to be their Sunday dinner guests.
Wendell and Linda Wedel entertained Amanda Wedel, Roy and Nadine Davis and Eileen, Greg and Charlene Wedel, and LaVae Koehn and Travis and Connie Becker as their Sunday dinner guests. They helped Roy and Nadine celebrate their anniversary which was Sunday.
Barb Unruh, Katelin and Sarah spent from Monday to Friday during spring break visiting her mother in Phoenix, Ariz.
Invited Sunday dinner guests in the home of Larry and Wanda Koehn were Mitch and Carol Unruh, Lydia Toews, Denise Entz, Carol Unruh, Teresa Wiebe, and Tim and Shelia Koehn.
