The Tuesday memorial service for Vernon Koehn, 68, at Halstead was attended by Clayton and Betty Wiebe and Irvin Isaac. He was a cousin of Betty and his wife is Irvin's niece.
Sunday dinner guests in the home of Larry and Wanda Koehn were Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and Ross, Harlan and Sheri Koehn and Mark, and Duane and Louise Ratzlaff and Rayletta.
Saturday evening, Ron and Dora Unruh, Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna, and Mark and Barb Unruh, Katelin, and Sarah attended the Duerksen post-Easter family supper at the Goessel City Building. It was hosted by the Rudolf and Eulalia Schroeder family.
Jerald and Rhonda Koehn invited Clayton and Betty Wiebe and the Troy and Marla Wiebe family to be their Sunday dinner guests.
Sunday evening, Verla Redger visited with Lola Redger.
On Tuesday, Marcella Unruh, Lola Redger, Merle Decker, and Verna Decker attended the memorial service for Ivan Henne at the Roxbury Church.
Thursday, some friends got together for dinner at the senior center in Hillsboro to honor Verna Decker and Delphi Tiesen from Sydney, Mont. They were the honored guests and Marcella Unruh, Lola Redger, Jaraine Redger, Verla Redger, Darlene Unruh, Delilah Decker, and Ruth Penner.
Thursday evening, the Clayton Wiebes, the Ken Wiebes, and the Ransom Wiebes took supper to the home of the Richard Wiebes to enjoy with them.
Late Sunday afternoon, the following had a hamburger fry at the park in Newton: Verna Decker, Delphi Tiesen, the Gene Redger family, Earl and Sharon Decker and Jared, Merle and Kathy Decker, Carolyn Duggan of Hutchinson, Janell Duggan of Wichita, and Tim Duggan of Topeka.
Dinner guests Sunday of Bruce and Cheryl Dirks were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Marcel and Wendy Unruh, Carol Unruh, Denise Entz, Lydia Toews, and Amy Koehn.
On Friday evening, the Mark Wiebe family, the Jason Wiebe family, and the Ransom Wiebes went to Hillsboro to have supper at McDonald's. They then returned to the Ransom Wiebe home for cake and ice cream. They were celebrating the eighth birthday of Kayla, daughter of Mark and Kris Wiebe.
On Monday, Marcella Unruh and her family attended the memorial service for Tim Schroeder, 51, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in McPherson.
