News from Parkside

The residents' Valentine's Day celebration turned into an all-day party at Parkside.

About 20 residents received singing valentines from family members. The valentines were sung by the Parkside staff and a couple of very helpful residents during the morning. In the afternoon residents were invited to a valentine's party, served by students in the FCCLA club from Hillsboro High School. We played a game answering questions about our past. Some residents shared the story of how they met their spouses.

After the party, Roy Keller brought us a special devotional on love during our weekly Bible class. Dr. George Ens played music for us on a number of instruments before supper.
