Monday, Parkside residents signed up to participate in the 40 Days of Purpose sponsored by Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church. We received our books and a study guide. The first small discussion group was held with 12 participating. We will meet on Monday afternoons to view a short video presentation and discuss the material. If you are looking for a purpose for living, we encourage you to join us. Call Peggy Brandt at 947-2301 for information.
Tuesday afternoon, a group met to play dominoes. Frank Peters and Ben Ewert were the winners of the games. Snacks were served with coffee to the players. The evening program was brought by the Gospel Messengers.
Wednesday, Clint Seibel brought the afternoon Bible devotional. Vanilla ice cream was served after the service.
Karla Koslowsky played piano for the hymn sing led by Peggy Brandt on Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon, Parkside residents were joined by some Hillsboro Middle School students to play in a rhythm band.
Teddy Bear Bingo was played by residents on Friday afternoon. Everyone that got a bingo won a white stuffed bear.
Theater popcorn was served on Saturday afternoon. The men's group met with Dave Hunter in the afternoon. Hunter brought the Sunday afternoon worship service.
