Monday, Parkside residents continued to participate in the 40 Days of Purpose sponsored by Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church. We viewed a short video presentation and discussed the material. Tuesday afternoon, a group met to play dominoes. Frank Peters, Ben Ewert, and Kaethe Warkentin were the winners of the games. Snacks were served with coffee to the players. Raphael Noreiga brought a guitar program in the evening.
Wednesday, Daryl Baltzer brought the afternoon Bible devotional. Vanilla ice cream was served after the service.
Carla Koslowsky played piano for the hymn sing led by Peggy Brandt on Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon, Parkside had a "Pig-Out" for national Pig Day. Residents sampled cracklings, sausage, ham, and pork rinds.
Teddy bear bingo was played by residents on Friday afternoon. Everyone that got a bingo won a white stuffed bear.
Theater popcorn was served Saturday afternoon. The men's group met with Dave Hunter in the afternoon. Hunter brought the Sunday afternoon worship service.
