News from Parkside

On Monday, Parkside's "40 Days of Purpose" group met to view a video and discussed the fourth chapter in the book. We all received a copy of the new Bible verse for this week.

Tuesday afternoon, a group met to play dominoes. Fern Unruh, Kaethe Warkentin, and Dave Classen were the winners of the games. Snacks were served with coffee to the players.

On Wednesday, some residents took a bus ride to view the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church burn sight. Pastor Bruce Porter spoke about the events of the last weeks with some looking to the future. Chocolate ice cream was served after the meeting.

On Thursday, residents cracked nuts and baked peanut butter cookies. The cookies were served at the Friday bingo game. Kaethe Warkentin was the winner of the blackout game.

Dave Hunter brought the Sunday afternoon worship service.
