News from Parkside

Monday, Parkside had a resident and family potluck. Everyone enjoyed a delicious assortment of dishes brought by families and a hot burger provided by Parkside. The vision of beginning a Parkside Family Council was presented to family members after the meal. A discussion followed.
Tuesday afternoon, a group met to play dominoes. Fern Unruh, Frank Peters, and Dave Classen were the winners of the games. Snacks were served with coffee to the players.
Wednesday, Daryl Baltzer completed his devotions on Psalm 23. Vanilla ice cream was served after the meeting.
Thursday, residents were treated to a program created by Hillsboro Middle School students. Their program was entitled "Spring." They also surprised us with two freshly baked cakes decorated with colorful jelly beans. What a treat!
Erma Ens and Sarah Gaede were the winners of the bingo blackout game played on Friday.
Dave Hunter led the men's group on Saturday, and popcorn was the afternoon treat.
First Mennonite Church brought the Sunday afternoon worship service.
