The Parkside Resident council met on Monday afternoon to discuss current issues. A trash bag was offered to those wanting to do some spring cleaning and get rid of old newspapers, junk mail and the things that cause clutter. Residents were also encouraged to take their snack food storage containers to the kitchen to be washed.
Tuesday afternoon, a group met to play dominoes. Ron Freeman and Ben Ewert were the winners of this week's games.
Wednesday, Roy Keller gave the afternoon devotional. Chocolate ice cream was served after the meeting.
Thursday, residents gathered for a spirited hymn sing before lunch. At 3 p.m. a video of the live performance of the Mennonite Men's Chorus, recorded in 2000, was shown to a large group of interested residents.
The Friday bingo games were called by Mariann Unruh. The winner of the blackout game was Irma Ens.
Sunday, Leann Penner hosted the worship service given by the Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.
