Monday Parkside's residents were invited out to the patio for coffee and donuts. Some of them gathered in a group and played a word game.
Tuesday afternoon the Parkside dominoes group played a number of games. Dave Classen and Ava Ballew were the high scorers. Coffee and cookies were served during the games. Tuesday evening we enjoyed a meaningful guitar program by Ralph Noreiga.
Wednesday, Roy Keller gave a devotional. Chocolate ice cream was served after the devotional. An informational meeting was held for those who are looking for a way to make a difference in someone's life as a Parkside volunteer. If you are one of these special people, give us a call at 947-2301. This is for teens and adults willing to learn to be a volunteer.
Thursday, Carla Koslowsky played piano for the weekly hymn sing. Games were played in the afternoon. The Morning Star Church gave the evening program.
The Friday afternoon bingo games were called by Mariann Unruh. Each player received a banana for participating. The blackout winner was Ava Ballew. The weekend trivia paper was delivered to all residents.
Theater popcorn was served Saturday afternoon. Gene Magnuson taught the morning Sunday school class.
An anniversary party was held for Ike and Helen Thiessen on Sunday afternoon to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary. The Thiessen family brought the afternoon program.
