Northwest Durham: Teona Wedel is one year old

Teona Wedel celebrated her first birthday Wednesday evening at the home of her parents, Greg and Charlene Wedel. Guests were Wendell and Linda Wedel, Dale and Kathy Jantz, and other relatives.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Mary Helen Becker. She died March 10 and memorial services were Saturday at First Baptist Church, Durham. A large group attended the service.

Sunday dinner guests of Roy and Nadine Davis were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Melvin and Vera Dirks, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, John and Ethel Steiner and Randall, and Vernon and Judy Koehn of McPherson.

Jaraine Redger has spent a lot of time with her daughter, Velora. She recently had surgery at Wichita and is recuperating slowly at her home at Newton.

Sunday dinner guests at the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe were Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Greg and Charlene Wedel and family, and Tim and Shelia Koehn and family.

Mike and Mich Rhodes and family spent the weekend at the home of their parents, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes. They also visited other friends and relatives.

Wendell and Linda Wedel attended funeral services Saturday afternoon for her uncle, Jake Mayeskea at Fredonia.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe went to the Manor at Moundridge Thursday evening to visit Helen Wiebe.
