The 26th wedding anniversary of Harry and Verna Decker was celebrated Saturday evening when Gene and Jaraine Redger, Earl and Sharon Decker, and Merle and Kathy Decker took them out for supper at the Smolan restaurant.

Harry and Lela Wedel accompanied by Amanda Wedel and Harvey and Madeline Jantz went to Livingston, Calif., on March 1. They went to attend the funeral service for Abe Jantz, 76, brother of Lela, Amanda, and Harvey. They returned home Friday evening. The community extends sympathy to the relatives.

Friday afternoon, granddaughters of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Rachel Unruh, who teaches at Copeland, and her sister Meribeth from California, who was visiting her, came to spend until Saturday evening with them. On Friday evening, the Wiebes hosted a supper for them at the school. Guests were the Morning Star youth, Dave and Chris Redger and family, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and family, and Mark and Kris Wiebe and family. Other guests were Tracey Janzen, teacher, and her brother and sister Jon and Bonnie Janzen of Bernie, Manitoba, Canada, who were visiting here in the area.

The Richard Wiebes had as their Sunday dinner guests, Roy Davis family and the Troy Wiebe family.

Jim and Brenda Enns and Darren were late Sunday afternoon visitors of the Ron Unruhs.

Harry and Lela Wedel, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and family, and Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes were Sunday dinner guests of the Warren Unruhs of Lehigh.

Guests for Sunday dinner in the home of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were Jim and Darlene McGuire and family of Burns, Harlan and Sherry Koehn and family, John and Ethel Steiner and Randal, Amanda Wedel, and Dayton and Martha Unruh and Carol.

Larry and Wanda Koehn and family visited their parents, Dayton and Martha Unruh on Friday. Other guests were the Warren Unruh family.

Nealda Penner of St. Anne, Manitoba, Canada, arrived Thursday at the Bruce Dirks home to be their house guest until Monday. She was the teacher of the Dirks' children when they were missionaries in Belgium. On Friday evening, they visited the Melvin Dirks in Lehigh. Howard and Charlene Becker were also guests. Sunday dinner guests in the Bruce Dirks home were their house guest, Shelia Penner, Wendy Claassen, Mitch and Carol Unruh, Mike and Michelene Rhodes, and Harold and Ruby Koehn and Joseph of Inman. Sunday evening after church, the Bruce Dirks family and Nealda Penner were visitors of the Ken Wiebes.

Monday evening, Ron and Dora Unruh attended the musical "The Cheese Stands Alone" presented by the first and second graders of Hillsboro Elementary School. Their grandson, Nathan, took part in it. The Warren Unruh family as well as the Wayne Geis family were in attendance. Lauren Geis was also in the musical.
