Many friends and relatives attended the Sunday morning wedding of Kendall Wiebe and Susie Unruh at Morning Star Church.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe went to Kansas City Wednesday to get their granddaughters from the airport. Kristi and Deanna Koehn came from California to spend a week visiting here and to attend the Wiebe-Unruh wedding.

Jason and Lane Giesbrecht of Brooksville, Miss., and Jeff Klassen of Settler, Alberta, Canada, came for the Wiebe-Unruh wedding and were guests of Heath Dirks at the home of Bruce and Cheryl Dirks.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe were Wednesday evening visitors of Melvin and Vera Dirks at Hillsboro.

Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family of Bloomfield, Iowa, came for the weekend to visit and attend the Wiebe-Unruh wedding. They were houseguests of Abe and Louise Ensz.

Merlin and Karletta Wiebe hosted a family supper Saturday evening at the school for family and out-of-state visitors who came for the wedding.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe went to Dodge City Wednesday to attend the church's annual meeting at the civic center. They returned home Saturday afternoon.

Many folks in the community attended the state basketball tournament at Hutchinson this past weekend to support the Hillsboro girls' team. The girls took first on Saturday. Congratulations! We are proud of you.
