This area received a very nice rain Friday evening varying from one to 1.65 inches. Things have really greened up and the fruit trees are blooming. Hopefully we won't have much cold weather anymore.
Anita and Barb Unruh hosted a birthday dinner Sunday in Hillsboro for February and March birthdays. Those with birthdays were Nathan Unruh, Jenna Unruh, Sarah Unruh, Katelin Unruh, and Lon Hiebert. Those attending the dinner were the Warren Unruh family, Mark Unruh family, Ron and Dora Unruh, Lon Hiebert family, Jim and Brenda Enns, and Darren and Katelin Unruh and friend, Tim from Hesston College.
Weekend visitors of Marcella Unruh were Molly and Matthew Schroeder.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe hosted a birthday dinner in honor of their son, Mark. Guests were the Mark Wiebe family, Merlin Wiebe family, Jason Wiebe family, Bryon and Rebecca Thomas, Anthony and Beth Wiebe, Kendall and Susie Wiebe, and Lisa Redger.
Sunday dinner guests of Larry and Wanda Koehn were Melvin and Vera Dirks, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Ken and Shelly Giesbrecht and Taylor, Mitchell and Carol Unruh and family, and Tim and Shelia Koehn and family.
