Several fund-raiser suppers were held for the Cottonwood Grove School this week. On Tuesday, Scott and Tami Koehn hosted a supper at their home in the loft of their barn that they have fixed up. Darrel and Donita Rhodes helped them host it. Guests were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Harlan and Sherry Koehn, Mark and Kris Wiebe and family, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and Kyran, Mitch and Carol Unruh and Deryk, Marcel and Wendy Unruh and family, and Bruce and Cheryl Dirks. On Thursday evening, Doug and Starla Koehn hosted a supper at their place near Lehigh and their guests were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Harry and Lela Wedel, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Wendell and Linda Wedel, and Randall Steiner.
Ken and Sandy Wiebe went Sunday afternoon to Moundridge Manor to visit Helen Wiebe.
The family of the late Dale Rhodes had a belated Easter gathering Sunday at Sugar Creek School near Galva. From here, the Harry Rhodes family and Darrel Rhodes family attended.
Marci Salisbury, Calvin and Donna Salisbury and Justin of Montezuma, Dianne Wedel, Anthony and Beth Wiebe, and Kendall and Susie Wiebe were Sunday guests at the Merlin Wiebe home.
Having an enjoyable Sunday dinner and afternoon of visiting at the Larry Koehn home were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Greg and Charlene Wedel and family, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, and Clayton and Betty Wiebe.
Marcella Unruh and Lola Redger had Friday dinner at Main Street Café.
Weekend guests of Gene and Jaraine Redger were Vicki and Mike, Treva, Ramie, and Terry of Burrton. Sunday afternoon, Jaraine attended the third birthday party for her great-granddaughter, Lyna McCombs at the home of Mike and Tara at Hillsboro.
Roy and Nadine Davis, Wendell and Linda Wedel, John and Ethel Steiner and Randall, Tim Davis, and Henry Redger were Sunday dinner guests at the Terry Hiebert home.
Rhonda and Eileen Davis, Katie Unruh, and Denise Koehn left Friday for Gallup, N.M., to visit Bethany Dirks and do some sightseeing at the Grand Canyon in Arizona. They also visited a friend in Albuquerque, N.M., before returning home Wednesday.
