Congratulations to Travis and Sharon Koehn! They have a new baby boy at their house. Logan Clay was born May 14 at Moundridge Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has three sisters and one brother to welcome him home. Grandparents are Larry and Wanda Koehn and Clayton and Betty Wiebe.
Cottonwood Grove School had a basket dinner and play-day Saturday. Teacher Sarah Peachy had relatives come for the weekend and they attended school activities. They were Abram and Saloma Peachy and Ammon, who were houseguests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, and Iddo and Ada Peachy and Syldan. They were houseguests Saturday of Roy and Nadine Davis. They are from Millersburg, Pa.
Mother's Day guests for dinner in the home of Tim and Sheila Koehn were Larry and Wanda Koehn, Denise and Titus, Dalton and Lorna Koehn and Kyran, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, and Carol Unruh.
Sunday dinner guests at the home of Ruston and Lydia Dirks were Roy and Nadine Davis and Eileen, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, Ken and Shelly Giesbrecht and Taylor, and Leonard and Dianne Peachy who taught school here the first part of the year.
Ron and Dora Unruh attended eighth grade promotion exercises Monday evening at Peabody. Their grandson, Matt Hiebert, was one of the graduates. Others attending from the Durham area were Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah and Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna.
Larry and Wanda Koehn invited Abram and Saloma Peachy and son, Iddo, and Ada Peachy and son, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and girls, Rhonda Davis, and Sarah Peachy to Sunday dinner.
Wendell and Linda Wedel attended the wedding reception for Whitney and Jodi (Menniger) Unruh Sunday evening at Lone Tree Church. Whitney's mother is Linda's cousin.
