Clayton and Betty Wiebe flew to Oregon July 11 to attend a reunion with 18 couples at Lebanon, Ore. These men had served in I-W services at the hospital there in the early 1960s. They enjoyed camping at a campground nearby which was very relaxing time together. One day they also were able to go to the coast to see the ocean. They attended the 50th anniversary service July 15 at the Sico, Ore., church. They returned home July 16.

A farewell basket dinner was held July 15 at the Morning Star Church for Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and boys. There was a short program in the afternoon. The Wiebes will be leaving for three years at a mission field at Ghano, West Africa.

The senior citizens met Wednesday at Durham for a hamburger fry. Richard Dirks was in charge of a musical program.

Rick and LaVae Koehn were Saturday evening guests of Roy and Nadine Davis for a picnic supper.

Katelin Unruh met some friends from Hesston and Haven Wednesday and together they went to Hutchinson for lunch and a movie to celebrate a birthday.

Errol and Mae Wedel and Loretta Wiebe of Arizona came Friday with their camper to spend about a week at the home of Mae's sister, Betty and Clayton Wiebe. Loretta is the Wiebes' daughter.

The Gerald Unruhs were Sunday evening visitors of Marcella Unruh.

Gene and Jaraine Redger attended the July 7 wedding of their granddaughter, Tara Redger to Mike McCombs at a church in Newton.

Wendell and Linda Wedel went to Moundridge Manor Sunday and took Amanda out for dinner. She always enjoys getting out.

It was time again for the annual summer breakfast with the grandchildren. Dora Unruh took all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren out for breakfast Saturday at Main Street Café in Durham. Those present were David and Ashley Enns, Alia, Brandi, Elizabeth, Sara, and Lexi of Whitewater, Lisa Enns of Iola, Katelin Unruh, Darren Enns, Sarah Unruh, Matthew Hiebert, Nathan Unruh, and Kyle Unruh.

Harry Wedel returned home Saturday from the Salina hospital after having surgery on Wednesday. We're glad to hear he is home and wish him a speedy recovery.

Those enjoying a picnic dinner together Sunday in the park at Lindsborg were the Merlin Wiebe family, the Harry Rhodes family, Duane and Louise Ratzlaff and Rayletta, and Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff and Taryn, and Mike and Mich Rhodes and family of Arkansas.

The Ransom Wiebes and the Mark Wiebe family went to Abilene Sunday for dinner. Later, Ransom and Lillian visited Harry Wedel at his home.

Marcella Unruh, Leland Kaiser, and other friends were Sunday dinner guests of Bob and Priscilla Unruh.

Virgil and Marlene Wiebe of Inman, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and girls, Teresa Wiebe, and Irvin Isaac were Sunday dinner guests of Ken and Sandy Wiebe.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and Kyran, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, Larry and Wanda Koehn and Titus, Dianne Wedel, and Henry Redger left Saturday to attend the Sunday morning wedding of Doug Smith and Darlene Penner at Fairview, Okla.

Ransom and Lillian visited Tim and Ann Boehs before returning home. They worked with them in the Zimbabwe, Africa, mission field several years ago.

Warren and Anita Unruh and family and Mark and Barb Unruh and Katelin were late Sunday afternoon luncheon guests at the Ron Unruh home.
