The Ron Unruhs, Mark Unruh family, Warren Unruh family, Lon Hiebert family, and David Enns family went Wednesday evening to the Jim Enns home to surprise Brenda on her birthday, which was Nov. 23. They enjoyed supper together and an ice cream cake in honor of her birthday.
Dianne Schroeder spent several days with her grandmother, Marcella Unruh. On Thanksgiving Day, they went to Salina and had dinner with Galen and Marlene Unruh and Gene and Sue Unruh and family. Dianne returned home to Kansas City Sunday.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe hosted a family dinner Thursday evening. Guests were Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and family, Mark and Kris Wiebe and family, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family of Bloomfield, Iowa, Anthony and Beth Wiebe, and Sharon and Lisa Redger.
Thursday supper guests of Jerald and Kaylene Unruh at Hillsboro were Ron and Dora Unruh.
The Gene and Jaraine Redger family got together Thursday at their home in Newton.
Warren and Anita Unruh were Thursday guests at the home of Jerry and Vi Dalke together with Damian and Amy Ratzlaff and family. Kyle was an overnight guest of Alex Anna Ratzlaff.
Wendell and Linda Wedel and Greg and Charlene Wedel and Cadon joined the Mayeskea family for dinner Thursday at the Ron Jantz home in Burns.
Many of the Isaac Wiebe family and some others got together Thursday for a basket dinner at the school.
Lola Redger went to the Ray Redger home Thursday for a Redger family Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Ray and his children.
Larry and Wanda Koehn hosted a dinner Thursday at their home. Guests were Howard and Iris Eck and family, Shannon and Jessie Eck, Aaron and Marsha Yost, all from the Haviland/Greensburg area; Lena Koehn and Margie Jantz of Newton; Crystal Koehn of Moundridge Manor; Tim and Shelia Koehn and Jared, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe, and Kyran and Carol Unruh.
Thursday dinner guests of Roy and Nadine Davis were Rick and LaVae Koehn. That evening the youth from Morning Star Church and Richard and Charlotte Wiebe were their guests.
Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family have been houseguests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe from Thursday to Monday, when they returned home. On Friday and Saturday, they attended an Ensz family reunion at the Wheatland School near Moundridge. They also spent some time with Rebecca's parents, Abe and Louise Ensz.
The Harry Wedel family got together Thursday at the Wedel home.
Palmer and Lucille Base went Nov. 19 to visit at the June Campbell home near Goessel. On Thursday they were invited dinner guests of Gary and Sue Base near Solomon.
Sunday dinner guests of the Clayton Wiebes were Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and Janessa, Larry and Wanda Koehn and Titus, Dianne Wedel, and Travis and Sharon Koehn and family.
Wendell and Linda Wedel, Greg and Charlene Wedel and Cadon, Roy and Nadine Davis, Rhonda and Eileen, Rick and LaVae Koehn, and Travis and Connie Becker took Sunday dinner to Moundridge Manor to enjoy with their mother and grandmother, Amanda Wedel.
Richard and Kathy Dirks went to visit Milton Kaiser, who recently had surgery.
Harry and Sheryle Rhodes took Sunday dinner to the home of Calvin and Janene Wiebe.

Guests were Bruce and Cheryl Dirks and family, Melvin and Vera Dirks, Ruston and Lydia Dirks, Gavin and Donalee Johnson and Adam and Elyne Johnson of Texhoma, Texas, Chris and Jodi Ratzlaff of Galva, and Dan and Stephanie Becker of Canton.
Bruce and Cheryl Dirks and family and Ruston and Lydia Dirks joined the rest of Cheryl's family Thursday at the home of her mother, Verna Smith near Hutchinson.
