Morning Star youth hosted a friendship supper Thursday evening for senior residents of the community. After serving everyone a delicious supper they and their sponsors had prepared, they presented us with some seasonal musical numbers. This is an evening everyone looks forward to and is appreciated by all attending. There some poinsettias given to several lucky guests at the end of the evening.

Congratulations to Calvin and Janene Wiebe on the arrival of their baby girl on Nov. 29. They named her Morgan Gayle and she has two brothers and one sister to welcome her. Clayton and Betty Wiebe and Harry and Sheryl Rhodes are the grandparents.

Sunday evening supper guests of Marcel and Wendy Unruh were Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, Ken and Shelly Giesbrecht and Taylor, and Quinton and Dianne Unruh and family.

Ron and Dora Unruh attended the Christmas program Monday evening at the Peabody school. Their grandson, Matt Hiebert had a part in it.

Congratulations to Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff on the arrival of their first child, a baby girl. She was born Nov. 28. The grandparents are Duane and Louise Ratzlaff and Warren and Jane Unruh.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe attended the memorial service Wednesday morning for Herman Nightingale, 84, at Lone Tree Church. They went to the Garden View church that afternoon for the memorial service for Mrs. Arnold Wiggers, 87.

Roy and Nadine Davis and Eileen and Rick and LaVae Koehn were Wednesday evening guests at the holiday potluck supper at Salem Home. Roy's father, Gerald Davis is a resident there.

Ron and Dora Unruh and Tom and Carla Harmon were among those who attended the USD 410 classified staff Christmas supper and program Saturday at the school. The entertainment was provided by Glenda and Mike's Magic Show.

Mark and Barb Unruh attended Barb's office Christmas dinner Saturday evening at Waters Edge Restaurant, Hesston.

Harry and Lela Wedel went to the visitation for Ruben Ensz Sunday afternoon at Inman. His funeral was Monday. Harry was in CPS with him in the mid-1940s.

Gene and Jaraine Redger and Earl and Sharon Decker hosted the Decker Thanksgiving gathering Sunday at the Cooper School in Newton. They also celebrated John's 75th birthday, which was Dec. 3. John really enjoyed the day.

A group went to the Salina Rescue Mission Saturday evening to help with serving supper. They provided cookies and a program later in the evening. Those going were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, the Nelson Wiebe family, Stuart Isaac family, and Terry Hiebert family.

Jim and Brenda Enns came to the Ron Unruh home Sunday evening with cake and ice cream to help Dora celebrate her birthday. She also received several phone calls for good wishes.

Verna Decker has been hospitalized since Nov. 28 and has improved some. She would appreciate cards. Her address is 525 E. Main, Sidney MT 59270.

Sunday evening supper guests at the Roy Davis home were Stuart and Lea Isaac and family, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family and Mitch and Carol Unruh and Joel.
