Northwest of Durham: Families celebrate Wesley Unruh's birthday

On Monday afternoon, Ruth Thayer and Paula went to the home of Marcella Unruh for a visit. They also brought refreshments to enjoy together. On Sunday, Marcella went to visit at the Gerald Unruh home in Salina.
The community extends their sympathy to the Richard Wiebe family. Charlotte's father, George Friesen, age 74, passed away suddenly on Wednesday at Almena, Wis. Funeral services were held Saturday at Almena. The Richard Wiebe family and Dalton and Lorna Wiebe went to Wisconsin.
On Sunday, dinner guests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were the Mark Wiebe family and the Jason Wiebe family. They celebrated Joni's birthday.
On Sunday, Ron and Dora Unruh, Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan and Kyle, Lon and Deb Hiebert and Matthew, Jim and Brenda Enns and Darren took dinner to share with Wesley Unruh at Parkside homes in Hillsboro. This was in honor of Wesley's recent 95th birthday.
The Mark Unruh family invited a group of Tabor College students and Trinity Mennonite Church's youth pastor for Sunday dinner. They were Chad Stutzman, Hillary Driffe, Amber McKillp, Kevin Wahl, Gates Groff, Shawna Stutzman, and Todd Lehman. Since there was no school at USD 410 on Monday for students, Katelin and Sarah Unruh returned home with Shawna to spend the day with her at college.
