Northwest of Durham: Florida Unruhs visit relatives

The community wishes to extend their sympathy to the Larry Koehn family as Wanda's father Dayton Unruh of Lehigh passed away. Memorial services being held on Sunday at the Morning Star Church.
Saturday evening, Ron and Dora Unruh went to Goessel to join the rest of the Duerksen family for the family Thanksgiving get together at the Alexanderwohl Church shelter house. The event was hosted by the Marvin and Rosalie Duerksen family.
Arvid and Julie Unruh of Brandon, Fla., arrived in the area to visit relatives and especially their father, Esley Unruh, at Parkside Homes. On Sunday evening, the Ron Unruhs, Arvid Unruhs, the Mark Unruh family, Jim and Brenda Enns and Darren, the Lon Hiebert family, and Lisa Enns of Hesston College were guests of Warren and Anita unruh for a wiener roast. The birthdays of Warren, Ron, Brenda, Kyle, Barb, and Dora were celebrated. It was special for Kyle as it was her fourth birthday on Nov. 24.
On Sunday afternoon, Ron and Dora Unruh went to Hesston where the 50th anniversary of Roland and Vernetta Funk was celebrated at the Hesston Inter Mennonite Church. Vernetta was a longtime friend and classmate of Dora's.
Marcella Unruh, Lola Redger, and Darlene Unruh had dinner together in Hillsboro after which they went to visit Verna Decker, who is a patient at HCMC.
