The community wishes to extend their sympathy to the Larry Koehn family. Wanda's mother, Mrs. Martha (Dayton) Unruh, passed away on Tuesday. Memorial services were held Saturday morning at the Morning Star Church. She will be missed by family and friends.
Carolyn Jantz of New Plymouth, Idaho, came to spend a few days visiting friends and relatives. She also spent the time in the home of Brad and Joyce Dirks, since she was a friend of the late Heidi Dirks. On Sunday, additional dinner guests in the Dirks' home were Richard and Charlotte Wiebe and family, Darrel and Donita Rhodes, Kris and Stephanie Becker and Reagan, and Scott and Tammy Koehn. On Sunday evening, Carolyn was a guest for supper in the home of her cousin, Sheryle and Harry Rhodes.
Sunday dinner guests in the home of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family of Bloomfield, Iowa, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Sheri's parents, Melvin and Elvera Penner, and sister, Lavern and Carol and Carol Goossen, both from Rosenort, Manitoba, Canada.
Errol and Mae Wedel of Phoenix, Ariz., are spending a few days visiting her sister, Betty, and her husband, Clayton Wiebe. On Friday, supper guests in the Wiebe home were the Wedels, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and Ross, and Loralee's parents, Ron and Lydia Toews and Beth of Heart Valley, Alberta, Canada.
Jerald and Rhonda Koehn invited the following to be their Sunday dinner guests: Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Tim and Shelia Koehn, Marcel and Wendy Unruh, Doyle and Kara Wiebe and family, and Rhonda's brother, Darrin and his wife June Isaac and family of Edinburgh, Alberta, Canada.
Saturday afternoon supper guest of Ron and Dora Unruh was Arvid Unruh of Brandon, Fla. He arrived in Kansas late Friday to spend about a week visiting relatives and especially his father Wesley Unruh at Parkside Homes.
