Northwest of Durham: Residents entertain dinner guests

Brian and Heidi Oblander, Kyle and Keith from California were guests Friday evening for supper at the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe.

Dalton and Lorna Wiebe invited Larry and Wanda Koehn, Denise and Titus, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, and Tim and Shelia Koehn and Jared for Sunday dinner. They celebrated Larry's birthday which was last Sunday.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Harry and Lela Wedel, and Harlin and Sheri Koehn and Mark were dinner guests July 17 of Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff.

Sunday, Clayton and Betty Wiebe visited Helen Wiebe at Moundridge Manor.

Darrel and Donita Rhodes and Tyson and Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family enjoyed Sunday dinner at the home of Marcel and Wendy Unruh.

Nelson and Bev Wiebe invited Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Harry and Lela Wedel, Duane and Louise Ratzlaff, and Rayletta and Carol Unruh for Sunday dinner.

Approximately 130 Durham alumni gathered in Durham Saturday evening for a reunion. Tables were set up on Main Street for the meal catered by Syl's of Colwich. The entertainment was by Jim Hoy, director of the Center for Great Plains Study at Emporia State University. The former Wendy Oblander from London, England, came the farthest.

Doyle and Kara Wiebe invited Wendell and Linda Wedel, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and family, Irvin Isaac, and Marlyn and Karlyn Wiebe to be their Sunday dinner guests.

Ron and Dora Unruh were Monday evening guests of Eddie and Anita Schmidt for a hamburger fry.
