NW Durham: Wedels spend weekend in Fredonia
Oct. 11-18
Wendell and Linda Wedel spent Saturday and Sunday in Fredonia. The Mayeskea family had a reunion on Saturday with a basket dinner at the park at Independence. They also celebrated Linda's mother Naomi's birthday. That evening they had a wiener roast at the Mayeskea family farm. The Wedels returned home Sunday afternoon.
Guests of Anthony and Beth Wiebe in Roxbury were Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, Harry and Lela Wedel, and Tim and Shelia Koehn and Jared.
Richard and Kathy Dirks attended Sunday morning services at Parkview church in Hillsboro. They, Don and Joyce Weinbrenner and Doug, and Colleen Weinbrenner, Candace and Brett had dinner at Country Lakes Café in Marion.
Invited Sunday dinner guests at the home of Roy and Nadine Davis were Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, Ken and Shelly Giesbrecht and Taylor, and Marvin and Pearl Ensz and Verna of Hillsboro.
Those who were dinner guests in the home of Larry and Wanda Koehn were Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and Kyran and Quinton and Dianne Unruh, Susie and Jessie.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe enjoyed having Harlan and Sheri Koehn and Mark, Bryan and Rebecca Thomson, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, and Merlin and Karlotta Wiebe and family as their Sunday dinner guests.
Ron and Dora Unruh attended the visitation for Helen Loewen Sunday afternoon at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel.
