NW Durham: Wiebes take in sights of western Kansas

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe spent Thursday and Friday in Western Kansas. They did some sightseeing in the Scott City area and on Thursday were supper guests of Jim and Kris Koehn and Marienthal.
On Friday afternoon they visited her sister and husband Anita and Ken Schmidt and spent the evening with Claude and Leah Unruh at Montezuma before returning home.
Lillian said her parents are doing real well and enjoy the Bethel Home where they have an apartment.
Going to have dinner in the home of Ken and Shelly Geisbrecht were Roy and Nadine Davis and family, Amanda Wedel, Harry and Lela Wedel, and Melvin and Vera Dirks.
Last Friday Sarah Unruh was an overnight guest of Breanna Loewen in the Doug Loewen home. She helped Breanna celebrate her birthday.
The Merlin Wiebe family and the Stuart Isaac family took dinner to the home of Richard Wiebe Sunday. Irvin Isaac was also a guest. Charlotte had recent knee surgery and is doing well.
Guests for Sunday's dinner at the home of Harlan and Sherry Koehn, near Lehigh, were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks and family, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, and Elmer and Ella Weaver, Shippensburg, Pa.
Larry and Wanda Koehn enjoyed having Ken and Sandy Wiebe, Helen Wiebe, John and Ethel Steiner, and Troy and Marla Wiebe and family, as their Sunday dinner guests.
Orville and Delores Richert went to Hutchinson Saturday morning to watch their six-year-old grandson Layne Richert play basketball.
