Officers investigate vandalism
On July 24, Brenda Martin of Hillsboro reported that her 1995 Oldsmobile was scratched while parked at Hillsboro Community Medical Center. Damage was estimated at $326. Officer Jessey Hiebert was the investigating officer.
On July 29, Joel Odom, 21, of Hillsboro, was stopped for driving a vehicle with an expired license plate. The suspect was found to have a revoked driver's license and no proof of liability insurance. He was arrested and transported to Marion County Jail. Officer Chad Funk was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 1, James A. May of rural Hillsboro reported criminal damage to Hillsboro Refridgerate in Hillsboro. A suspect(s) used a pry tool in an attempt to pry at a security plate on the door. Officer David Funk was the investigating officer. Damage was estimated at $30.
