Oliver Unruhs celebrate 60th anniversary years ago

Oliver and Frances Unruh were honored guests at an open house for their 60th wedding anniversary at their home on Sunday afternoon hosted by their children Beverly Elliott of Hillsboro and Sid and Irma Unruh of Newton. Family attending were Beverly Elliott, Sid and Irma Unruh and Brandon and Sarah Shaw of Newton; Tracy Mull, Cole and Chris from Howard; Steve Cogdill of Great Bend; Lawrence and Helen Unruh, Cheryl Thompson, Judy Koehn and Jeff Unruh and Karla and J.J. all from Fairview, Okla.; Frank and Elaine Nelson from Overland Park; Delbert Hanneman, Gloria Hanneman and Audrey Hanneman from Wichita; Rachel and Kerry Hein and Malorie and Wilbur Hanneman of Hillsboro and many other friends.
Honored guests for their birthdays at a luncheon at Little Pleasures on Friday were Connie Wiens, Frances Unruh, Shirley Hamm, Carol Ollenburger all of Hillsboro and Marilyn Geis from Marion. Those honoring them were Valorie Hampton, Pearl Koch, Betty Meier, Marcella Mohn, Lois Nuss, Sheila Nuss, Arlene Pankratz, Beverly Elliott, Kathy Jury and Olivia, Jane Miller, Mary Lancaster, and Virginia Fadenrecht.
Sunday evening dinner guests at the Dave Weiberts' were Dennis and Sheryl White of McPherson, Susan White of Wichita, and David and Nancy and boys from Mr. Hope.
Monday evening supper guests at the Paul Pankratzes were Gus and Mildred Hamm of Tampa and Tim, Donna, and Marissa Diener of Hillsboro.
Eleanor Jost and her mother Mary Seibel visited Elmer and Dorothy Seibel at Newton Sunday afternoon.
