Orville Richert
Orville W. Richert, 78, of Durham, died May 25, 2006, at Salina.
Born Feb. 23, 1928, near Durham, he was the son of Peter and Linda (Jantz) Richert.
On June 10, 1949, he married Delores Jantz at Tampa.
He was a farmer and member of Central Heights Mennonite Church.
Survivors include his wife, Delores of Durham; two sons, Verlin Richert of Assaria and Bentley Richert of Abbyville; two daughters, Krystal Jensen of Roxbury and Annette Goering of Great Bend; sister, Lillian Peters of North Newton; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro.
Burial was at Peace Valley Cemetery, rural Durham.
A memorial fund has been established with Central Heights Cemetery Fund.
