Orville Robinson
Orville A. Robinson, 89, died Oct. 14, 2005, at his home in Lyons.
Born May 3, 1916, in Fronteer County, Neb., he was the son of Homer and Eva (Dettra) Robinson.
He graduated from Nebraska School of Agriculture, Curtis, Neb., and served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was a member of Lyons United Methodist Church and Hillsboro American Legion post.
On April 25, 1941, he married Jennie E. "Betty" Work at Oberlin.
He was retired from Associated Milk Producers Inc., Hillsboro, and moved to Lyons in 1991.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Betty of Lyons; two sons, Lester Robinson of Port Orchard, Wash., and Mike Robinson of Lyons; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Neb.
A memorial fund has been established with the Bell & Star Fund.
