Monday the Parkside Resident Council met to discuss current issues. We also began making a list of things that could be included in our "Perfect Day" activity. One thing everyone liked was a ride in the country.

Tuesday afternoon the Parkside dominoes group played a number of games. Rosemary Freeman and Frank Peters were the high scorers. Coffee and cookies were served during the games. The Herington "Band of Ah's" brought the evening program.

Pastor Dave Fast brought the Wednesday afternoon Bible class. Chocolate ice cream was served after the class.

Thursday Carla Koslowsky played piano for the weekly hymn sing. Some residents attended a funeral in the afternoon. A St. Patrick's Day coffee was held in the square during the afternoon. The Morning Star Church gave the evening program.

Bingo games were called by Mariann Unruh Friday afternoon. Lillian Plett was the blackout winner. Each player received a banana for participating. The weekend trivia paper was delivered to all residents.

Theater popcorn was served Saturday afternoon. Gene Magnuson taught the morning Sunday School class. St. John's Lutheran Church brought the afternoon worship service.
