These comments and squeals of excitement and joy could be heard echoing in each of Parkside's households April 7 as children of staff and families participated in the Parkside Easter egg hunt. Residents enjoyed being very creative using many different colors to decorate the hard-boiled eggs earlier in the week. In spite of the cool weather, everyone had a good time
This week has been a busy one with resident councils, parties, and programs. Each household held their own resident council and made decisions regarding life in their household.
Park Home Five planned a pizza party using funds left from their recent bake sale. They invited spouses and staff to join them Tuesday evening to enjoy pizza from Pizza Hut. Cookies and cream ice cream completed a great evening.
Parkside's Wednesday Walking Program continued this week. Staff and guests are encouraged to assist a resident to walk the courtyard circle. Special stations will offer water and healthy snacks for walkers. All staff, guests, and residents are encouraged to take part.
