"You are invited to a Supper Party
A number of residents received this written invitation recently to one of two parties given by our new homes last week.
Each household invited nine guests for supper and an evening of visiting and games.
The evening was rainy and cool but the atmosphere inside was warm and friendly.
After a supper provided by the Parkside "chefs," we enjoyed sharing about things for which we are thankful.
We played winner bingo and everyone won a prize.
The guests said, "It was good to be invited out!" and the hosts commented, "That was fun, let's do it again!"
So I am sure we will have more supper parties in the future.
The guests of household four were Frank and Marie Wiens, Helen Lace, Walter Meljo, Alice Jones, Fernetta Bitner, Marcella Klaassen, Art Wiebe, and Dave Classen.
The guests of household five were Marie Schultz, Esther Plenert, Ted and Florence Friesen, Verna Funk, Ron Freeman, Marvin Groening, and Lovisa Duerksen.
