The 2004 Week of Ice Cream began Monday afternoon with banana splits for residents.

Tuesday afternoon the dominoes group played a number of games and was treated to ice cream sandwiches. Frank Peters and Dave Classen were the high scorers.

Wednesday Pastor Laney Kuhn brought the afternoon devotional. Soft serve ice cream with toppings was served after the program.

Thursday morning Karla Koslowsky accompanied a group of residents as they sang some of their favorite hymns. The ice cream treat was homemade ice cream. The Band of Ah's from Herington brought the evening program.

Friday the afternoon bingo games were called by Mariann Unruh. Helen Thiessen was the blackout winner. The ice cream treat was a chocolate-covered ice cream bar. All players received a banana for participating. The weekend trivia paper created by Rosemary Freeman was delivered to all residents.

Theater popped corn was served Saturday afternoon. Sunday afternoon the United Methodist Church brought the worship program.
