Parkside Homes: August birthdays celebrated

The Apron and Stitches group met Monday afternoon and watched a video about quilting. The Men's Group met with Bob Fenstermacher and enjoyed discussion and a snack.

Care plans were Tuesday morning. LeOra Grunau gave the morning organ concert. Frank Peters, Art Wiebe, Rosalie Suderman and Eva Tessman were the winners of the domino games played with volunteers. The Gospel Messengers gave the evening program.

Roy Keller spoke on Revelations at the Wednesday Bible class. Vanilla was the ice cream flavor.

Peggy Brandt led the Thursday morning hymn sing with Carla Koslowsky accompanying at the piano. Mabel Suderman gave the devotional. Bennie Holtsclaw brought an afternoon of entertainment for the August birthday party. Beverly Harms helped serve refreshments. Celia Gross played the organ concert.

The weekend quiz was handed out Friday afternoon. Irma Ens and Ben Ewert were the blackout winners of the bingo games called by Mariann Unruh.

Saturday afternoon popcorn was served, and the Alexanderfeld Church gave the afternoon worship service with Leann Penner serving as hostess.

Exercises and kaffee haus were daily. The Read the Bible Through in 2002 group is reading in the book of Jeremiah this week.
