On Monday the Parkside family gathered for a Christmas banquet at noon. We enjoyed a delicious meal and a musical program brought by Louie Hagen.

Tuesday the Parkside staff sang carols for the residents before their noon meal. In the afternoon, residents played dominoes and ate peppernuts. After a Christmas Eve supper, the residents were offered fresh fruit as a Christmas treat.

Christmas Day, each hall family enjoyed a Christmas breakfast, gift exchange, and short program together. Residents enjoyed sharing Christmas wishes with family and friends the rest of the day.

Thursday, the video "The Christmas Box" was shown in the afternoon.

Bingo games were played Friday afternoon. Beverly Harms called the bingo games, and everyone received a banana.

Saturday afternoon popcorn was served. Sunday afternoon, the worship service was given by the First Baptist Church.

Exercises with Teresa and Kaffe Haus were daily. The "Read the Bible Through in 2002" group is reading the last part of the New Testament this month.
