Parkside Homes: Clark honored at farewell social

Residents enjoyed playing games with staff on Memorial Day. Many residents had visitors, including Kathy Fish from Hillsboro Library.

Dave Clark led music appreciation hour Tuesday morning. Domino players were invited to the Tuesday afternoon game time and shared cookies and coffee while competing for points.

During the domino games there was a lively bingo game started and called by energetic residents. After games, Dave provided music.

We made fresh donut holes and coffee Wednesday morning as we read the weekly newspaper.

Pastor Dave Fast brought the afternoon devotional. Vanilla ice cream was served after the meeting.

Dave offered shoe shines to residents Thursday morning and he was busy!

The weekly hymn group met at 11 a.m.

A farewell social was held during the afternoon to offer our best wishes and many thanks to Dave Clark for the many things he has brought into our lives during the past months.

We had share and show time Friday morning and we shared items and stories that make up our lives.

Weekly bingo games were played Friday. Everyone enjoyed getting a banana after the games.
