Hillsboro Middle School students joined us Monday afternoon for a program on the meals ready to eat served to our service men each day. We "cooked" and sampled the parts of the meal No. 23.

The winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon were Kaethe Warkentin, Goldie Funk, Dave Classen, and Frank Peters. Cookies and coffee were served for refreshments. The Gospel Messengers brought the evening program.

Pastor Laney Kuhn led the Bible class Wednesday afternoon. Chocolate ice cream was served after the class.

Thursday, Carla Koslowsky played the piano for hymn sing before we ate lunch. Art Unrau presented a program on the American Indians. Residents were served fresh-made Navajo fry bread as a snack.

Bingo games called by Mariann Unruh were played by a room full of residents on Friday afternoon. The winner of the blackout game was Marie Wiens. Bananas were given to all the bingo participants.

Afternoon popcorn was served on Saturday. The United Methodist Church brought the Sunday worship service.
