The White and Red Hat groups combined July 10 to play the word game, In a Pickle. Residents had fun using different words in a sentence.

Pastor Roy Keller presented the Wednesday Bible class preceded by a memorial moment for Marjorie Collins. Chocolate ice cream was served.

Parkside's annual corn shucking party was Thursday morning. No one found a worm, so once again we did not have a worm winner. The fresh, sweet corn was served for lunch.

Dave Clark was here for White Hat Club. At 3 p.m. residents gathered to celebrate Hildred Wiebe's 100th birthday. We now have three ladies in our Golden Girls Club who are 100 years old.

Weekly bingo games were Friday. Everyone received a banana after playing.
