Parkside Homes: Keller leads Easter communion

The Resident Council met Monday afternoon to discuss room safety and residents' rights.
The winner of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon were Kaethe Warkentin, Cora Meljo, Dave Classen, and Ron Freeman. Donuts and coffee were served for refreshments. Melaney Scott shared her eight-day-old lamb with residents during the pet parade. The Band of "Ah's" from Herington brought the evening program.
Pastor Roy Keller led the Easter Communion service in the afternoon. Elton Bloomberg played his accordion for before the service. Vanilla ice cream was served after the service.
Thursday, Carla Koslowsky played the piano for hymn sing before lunch. Bingo games called by Mariann Unruh were played by a room full of residents in the afternoon. Bananas were given to all the bingo participants.
Parkside's Good Friday service was presented by Dr. George Ens and the Parkview friends.
Afternoon popcorn was served on Saturday. John Ratzlaff brought the Easter worship service.
