The ladies from the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church brought a program on Tuesday to help celebrate the April birthdays. They also brought a special treat of fresh zwieback and cheese. We always enjoy it when they visit.
The winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon were Art Wiebe and Rosemary Freeman. Cookies and coffee were served for refreshments.
Pastor Laney Kuhn taught the Wednesday Bible study. Vanilla ice cream was served after class.
Thursday, Carla Koslowsky played the piano for hymn sing before lunch. The residents helped us prepare for the special MCC type dinner we would enjoy on Friday. We made a good number of verenika which will be served for the dinner Friday along with Hillsboro sausage, cherry mousse, and zwieback. Morning Star Church brought the Thursday evening program.
Bingo games called by Mariann Unruh were played by a room full of residents in the afternoon. Bananas were given to all the bingo participants.
Afternoon popcorn was served on Saturday. The Lewis Hiebert family provided the afternoon worship service on Sunday with a gathering later to celebrate the Hiebert's anniversary.
