Parkside Homes: Parkside recognizes caregivers

The Parkside rhythm band played songs from the past Monday afternoon.
Care plans were Tuesday morning. Rosalie Suderman, Evelyn Koop and Dave Classen were the winners of the domino games played with volunteers. Rafael Noregia brought the evening program.
John Ratzlaff led the Wednesday Bible class. Strawberry was the Ice Cream Day flavor.
Carla Koslowsky played piano for the Thursday morning hymn sing. Mable Suderman gave the devotional. An appreciation for caregivers was held in the afternoon. Jason Eades spoke on "Why I Am a Caregiver." Beverly Harms served the afternoon snack. Celia Gross brought the afternoon organ concert.
The bread of the day was raisin bread. Parkside's weekend quiz was given out on Friday. Evelyn Kosanke was the blackout winner of the bingo games called by Mariann Unruh with helper Mabel Klassen.
Popcorn was served Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning Kaethe Warkentin continued a study on The Prayer of Jabez during the weekly Sunday school lesson. The First Baptist Church of Durham was in charge of the afternoon worship service with Trista Hanley serving as hostess.
Exercises and kaffe haus were daily, and the week's topic of the Genesis club was flowers. The Read the Bible Through in 2002 group began the book of Ezra this week.
