Parkside Homes: Parkview play candy game with residents

Monday afternoon, the residents played the Kansas county game with students from Hillsboro Middle School.

Tuesday, the domino groups gathered around the tables for an afternoon of games and a snack of cookies and coffee. Musical Ministries gave the evening program.

A memorial service for Alberta Olson was held Wednesday afternoon. Roy Keller taught the Bible class after the memorial service, and later we enjoyed chocolate ice cream. The Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church MBY joined the residents to play the candy game in the evening.

Carla Koslowsky played the piano for the hymn sing before lunch. The ladies' group from Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church brought a birthday party and a program to celebrate the January birthdays on Thursday afternoon.

Bingo games called by Mariann Unruh were played by a room full of residents in the afternoon. Bananas were given to all the bingo participants.

Afternoon popcorn was served on Saturday. On Sunday morning, the Kliewers taught the Sunday school class. The Zion Lutheran Church gave the afternoon worship service.

Exercises and Kaffee Haus were daily and the "God's Words for Me" Bible reading group completed Exodus this week.
