Parkside Homes: Resident council discusses issues

Monday Parkside's Resident Council met to discuss current issues of praise and concern.
Tuesday afternoon the Parkside dominoes group played a number of games. Rosalie Suderman and Ike Thiessen were the high scorers.
Wednesday the weekly Bible class was begun with a special Memorial Moments for Emma Friesen. Roy Keller gave a devotional. Chocolate ice cream was served after the class.
Thursday Carla Koslowsky played the piano for the weekly hymn sing. Games were played in the afternoon. A watermelon faspa was held at 6 p.m. with lots of watermelon and fresh crullers.
The bingo games were called on Friday afternoon by Mariann Unruh. Each player received a banana for participating. The blackout winner was Ava Ballew. The weekend trivia paper was deliver to all residents.
Theater popcorn was served Saturday afternoon.
Gene Magnuson taught the morning Sunday school class. St. John's Lutheran Church brought the afternoon worship service.
