Parkside Homes: Residents celebrate Day of Prayer

The winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon were Dave Classen and Herb Unruh. Cookies and coffee were served for refreshments. Vicki's School of Dance students brought a dance recital on Tuesday evening.

Pastor Laney Kuhn led the Bible class on Wednesday afternoon. Vanilla ice cream was served after the class.

Thursday, Carla Koslowsky played the piano for hymn sing which was mixed with prayers for the National Day of Prayer. Residents joined together to begin our 2003 fair projects. We enjoyed working on as quilt that will be entered in the county fair. We also snacked on fresh Schnetka and coffee. Rafael Noreiga brought the evening program.

Bingo games called by Mariann Unruh were played by a room full of residents Friday afternoon. The winner of the blackout game was Sarah Gaede. Bananas were given to all the bingo participants.

Afternoon popcorn was served on Saturday. Zion Lutheran Church brought the Sunday worship service. The Adopted Grandparents program held its spring social on Sunday afternoon. There was time for sharing and visiting.
