Monday afternoon Parkside residents gathered to celebrate six birthdays. The "Birthday Game" was played, and we celebrated with fresh baked angel food cake and raspberry tea.
Tuesday afternoon the Parkside dominoes group played a number of games. Art Wiebe, Frank Peters, and Ike Thiessen were the high scoreres. Coffee and cookies were served during the games. The Gospel Messengers brought the evening program.
Wednesday the weekly Bible class was taught by David Fast. Vanilla ice cream was served.
Thursday Carla Koslowsky played the piano for the weekly hymn sing. Residents enjoyed eating watermelon "farm style" out on the patio.
The bingo games were called on Friday afternoon by Mariann Unruh. Each player received a banana for participating. The blackout winner was Ava Ballew. The weekend trivia paper was delivered to all residents.
Theater popcorn was served Saturday afternoon. Gene Magnuson taught the morning Sunday school class. "Musical Ministries" was in charge of the afternoon worship service.
