Parkside Homes: Residents discuss life on the prairie

Parkside residents watched "Little House on the Prairie" Monday afternoon and talked about prairie life.

The Parkside dominoes group played Tuesday afternoon. Helen Thiessen and Dave Classen were high scorers. Coffee and cookies were served.

Residents shared a memorial moment for JayDean Schroeder. They shared memories of JayDean and the way he enriched their lives. Ice cream was served following the memorial.

Carla Koslowsky played piano Thursday for the weekly hymn sing. Residents were invited to a watermelon feed with fresh crullers.

The bingo games were called Friday afternoon by Mariann Unruh. Each player received a banana for participating. The blackout winner was Helen Thiessen. The weekend trivia paper was delivered to all residents.

Theater popcorn was served Saturday afternoon.

Gene Magnuson taught Sunday school. Ebenfeld church was in charge of the afternoon worship service.
