Parkside Homes: Residents enjoy surrey ride

The residents enjoyed a surrey ride to see fall foliage Monday afternoon. After the tour around town, they were treated to ice cream compliments of McDonalds.
Care plans were Tuesday morning. Ben Ewert, John Rempel, Frank Peters, Rosalie Suderman and Goldie Funk were the winners of the domino games played with volunteers in the afternoon. Melaney and Rochelle Scott brought their cat Sammy for pet parade after the dominoes games.
The Ambassador Quartet, which will be retiring at the end of the month, brought their last program at Parkside. A farewell social was held after the program.
Stephen Humber spoke at the Wednesday Bible class. The ice cream day flavor was vanilla.
Peggy Brandt led the Thursday morning hymn sing with Carla Koslowsky accompanying at the piano. Tammy Heidel and Vida Bartel brought special music in place of the devotional. Clint Seibel was the auctioneer for the Annual Apple Auction held in the afternoon.
The bread baked in the bread machine Friday morning was cinnamon raisin. The weekend quiz was handed out Friday afternoon. Cora Meljo and Joe Suderman were the blackout winners of the bingo games played Friday afternoon.
Saturday afternoon popcorn was served. The United Methodist Church of Tampa brought the Sunday worship service.
Exercises and kaffee haus were daily. The Read the Bible Through in 2002 group is well into the New Testament this week.
