Monday, Parkside residents enjoyed visiting with Janice Porter and a few antiques from Molly's on Main.

Rosalie Suderman, Fern Unruh, and Dave Classen were the winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon. Refreshments were served.

John Savoia led the afternoon Bible class on Wednesday afternoon, speaking on God's Living Word and how its power changes our lives. Vanilla ice cream was served after the class.

Thursday morning, a group of 18 residents met on the patio for the annual corn husking party. Over 200 ears of corn were husked in 20 minutes. A prize was offered for the finder of the first worm, but no worms were in this beautiful corn. Residents enjoyed eating the delicious ears of corn for dinner. Carla Koslowsky played the piano for the hymn sing Thursday afternoon. A special residents' meeting was held to discuss upcoming events at Parkside.

The 4-H group brought a style show for the residents Friday morning. Friday's bingo games were called by Maryann Unruh. All players received a banana for participating. Jo Thye and Marie Wiens were the blackout winners. Crullers were served as a treat. The weekend quiz was delivered.

Theater popcorn was served Saturday afternoon and David Hunter brought a devotional during worship time Sunday afternoon. We are looking forward to the county fair beginning, and Parkside's special pie judging event Thursday afternoon. Also Thursday's fair supper served to Parkside residents.
