Parkside Homes: Residents honor pastors

The Resident Council met Monday afternoon to discuss resident business.

Care plans were Tuesday morning. Ben Ewert, Frank Peters, Bertha Schultz and Eva Tessman were the winners of the domino games played with volunteers. The Gospel Messengers brought the evening program.

Ken Peterson spoke at the Wednesday Bible class. His topic was "How to Know Where You Are Going." The ice cream day flavor was vanilla.

Peggy Brandt led the Thursday morning hymn sing with Carla Koslowsky accompanying at the piano. Mabel Suderman gave the devotional. The annual Pastor's Appreciation Social in the afternoon gave residents and pastors time to enjoy music, fresh baked apple pie, home made ice cream and a time of fellowship.

The weekend quiz was handed out Friday afternoon. Lillian Plett, Rosalie Suderman and Jo Thye were the blackout winners of the bingo games played Friday afternoon.

Saturday afternoon popcorn was served. Parkview Church brought the Sunday worship service.

Exercises and kaffee haus were daily. The Read the Bible through in 2002 group continued reading the New Testament.
