By PEGGY BRANDT

Activity director

Monday the Parkside residents enjoyed learning about cheese production. Jason Wiebe shared his family's involvement in cheese. We enjoyed hearing how cheese is made and how he got started in the production of cheese.

The winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon were Mabel Klassen, Ben Ewert, and Walter Meljo. Cookies and root beer were served for refreshments.

A number of residents met before lunch Wednesday to review the local news. Pastor Tim Kliewer led the Bible class Wednesday afternoon. Vanilla ice cream was served after the class.

Carla Koslowsky helped us in our Thursday hymn sing.

Carolyn Arrowsmith of Bethesda Home in Goessel was our guest speaker on Thursday. Her program was entitled "Chocolate Delight." We learned about the different kinds of chocolate and had some fun with the many different candy bar names. We were treated to candy bars and hot chocolate. She shared recipes for a number of hot chocolate mixes.

The Friday bingo games were called by Maryann Unruh. Fern Unruh and Mabel Klassen were the winners of the blackout game. Everyone got a banana for participating.

John Ratzlaff brought the Sunday worship service.
